NATA is bringing awareness to the important missions of several charitable organizations. Please visit the links below to find out how you can help. In addition, NATA hosts annual events and initiatives to garner a higher level of support and we greatly appreciate our members' participation.   




      Flag Pins for Veterans Project

NATA is working with industry to raise charitable donations for organizations supporting America's veterans. NATA members are asked to participate by displaying American-made flag pins in their operations with signage suggesting a donation of $1.00 per pin. The funds for this project will be collected periodically through NATA. The project launches May 2016 and will go through October 2016 culminating in a check presentation to veterans' organizations. The Veterans Airlift Command (VAC) provides free air transportation to post 9/11 combat wounded and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots. Click here to visit the Veterans Airlift Command website.

   



Corporate Angel Network (CAN) is the only charitable organization in the United States whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best possible treatment for their specific type of cancer by arranging free travel to treatment across the country using empty seats on corporate jets. This not only improves the patients' chances of survival but at the same time, reduces their emotional stress, physical discomfort and financial burden. 

Based in White Plains, NY, Corporate Angel Network occupies an office donated by the Westchester County Airport. Fifty part-time volunteers and a paid staff of six work with patients, physicians, corporate flight departments and leading treatment centers to arrange more than 3,000 flights a year.
