NATA and A3P Technologies Launch Emergency Response System

Washington, DC, January 22, 2015 – The National Air Transportation Association, in partnership with A3P Technologies, is pleased to announce the release of the Safety 1st Digital Emergency Response System®. The System is a cutting-edge digital tool that allows aviation businesses to prepare for, and respond to, emergency situations with an unparalleled level of effectiveness.  The system utilizes a business' existing or custom developed emergency response plan, but unlike a paper manual, places contact lists, emergency checklists and enhanced communications tools in the hands of decision makers through their smartphones, tablets and PCs when they need them most.

“At its core, emergency preparedness is about planning for what could be the worst day of your life. The Safety 1st Digital Emergency Response System will serve as a vital tool for aviation businesses to respond effectively to these unforeseen incidents,” stated NATA President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks.

“NATA Safety 1st has long been a leader in leveraging technology to support aviation businesses and we are very excited to work with NATA and the Safety 1st program to help aviation businesses enhance their level of emergency preparedness,” stated Albert Pod, President, A3P Technologies.

The Safety 1st Digital Emergency Response System® is fully customizable for any type of aviation business and incorporates an organization’s existing emergency response plan. The system provides automated text, email and voice notifications to key staff in the event of an emergency situation and acts as the digital command center for coordinating response.
