Membership and Marketing Intern

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) seeks a Membership and Marketing Intern. The primary role of the intern is to provide general support for the Association.

Ideal candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills, proofreading abilities and be comfortable working in a deadline-driven atmosphere.

Interns will be compensated at an hourly rate and required to work at least 15 hours a week during normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Membership and marketing support
  • Website and database maintenance
  • Assisting with membership outreach
  • Proofreading and editing
  • Other administrative and miscellaneous tasks as assigned

  Education & Training Coordinator


The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) is seeking an Education & Training Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day management of the association’s education and training programs as well as provide front line telephone and email support for program users.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to maintain organization and effectiveness while working on multiple projects.

Duties:

  • Provide customer support for NATA education & training programs
  • Assist with NATA event registration and logistics
  • Assist with NATA Foundation’s scholarships and application process
  • Work closely and effectively across multiple departments
  • Manage member support database
  • Contribute to membership and marketing campaigns
  • Manage and cultivate the member experience
  • Conduct product demonstrations and respond to inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and proper phone etiquette
  • Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving
  • Capability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Positive and upbeat attitude
  • Knowledge or experience with database and/or database management is a plus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, business OR 2-3 years’ experience in a related field required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
