- Dallas-based 135 certificate holder Jet Solutions LLC
desired to license a commercially available compliance based flight
release system.
- After internet research, and a trip to the NBAA convention,
the conclusion was made that no such product existed.
September, 2006
- Jet Solutions LLC develops requirements, and issued
a request for proposal.
December, 2006
- Vernon Software & Services was selected to develop “Project
Lonestar”.
June, 2006
- Jet Solutions beings testing the new system.
July, 2006
- NATA brings “Project Lonestar” under its
umbrella with the mission to make it generally available to its members.
December, 2006
- NATA brands the system IC Check.
Spring, 2007
- NATA begins “socializing” IC Check with
members. Gathers additional requirements beyond the initial deployment
at Jet Solutions.
- NATA presents IC Check to the FAA. Begins the process
of having IC Check be the first commercially available system approved
by the FAA as an accepted means of demonstrating regulatory compliance.
- Begins integration of IC Check with SkyBooks aircraft
maintenance tracking software.
June, 2007
- NATA announces IC Check at the Charter Summit.
January, 2008
- NATA completes integration of IC Check with CTA/FOS.
