Safety and Security Committee
Purpose
To assist NATA members in the development of safety and security measures appropriate to their operation, airport and lines of business.
Objective
The committee will be instrumental in the development of safety/security standards, guidelines and best practices for the NATA membership.
Duties

Recommend and develop programs and activities to improve the safety and security of member company facilities, equipment, employees and customer aircraft.

Review and recommend safety and security guidelines to control or reduce risks to enhance the company’s bottom line.

Oversee the development and marketing of the NATA Safety Management System, including expanding and enhancing the NATA Safety 1st training and certification program.

Submit reports and recommendations to the Board of Directors including requests for funding specific program enhancements or new projects.

Form subcommittees or task forces to quickly address specific security/safety issues.
