NATA Applauds the Confirmation of Bryan Bedford as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration

Washington, DC, July 9, 2025 – NATA (the National Air Transportation Association) President and CEO Curt Castagna issued the following statement on today’s Senate vote to confirm Bryan Bedford as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA):

“NATA welcomes the confirmation of Bryan Bedford to lead the FAA at this critical juncture for our nation’s aviation system. Steady, experienced leadership will be essential to guiding the Agency through an historic era of aviation innovation while tackling unprecedented challenges like aging infrastructure, strained workforce capacity, and the urgent need to modernize air traffic control. Administrator Bedford’s industry background and operational insight will serve Secretary Duffy’s vision for a safer, more efficient National Airspace System as he deploys the $12.5 billion of ATC funding approved by Congress last week. We look forward to working with Administrator Bedford to ensure the FAA’s priorities align with the needs of aviation businesses, empowering continuous safety, efficiency, and success for our essential industry.”

“NATA extends its gratitude to Chris Rocheleau for his leadership and service as Acting Administrator. We value his continued presence in FAA leadership and the strong partnership he brings to addressing key industry challenges.”
