Last week, NATA held its annual Day on the Hill event here in Washington, D.C. We once again had another great turnout. A number of NATA Hill stalwarts returned, and many new faces joined them to visit with Members of Congress and their staff to talk about issues important to the general aviation community.
“The evening after our Day on the Hill, as well as the next day during our committee meetings, several members approached me to express how pleased they were with their meetings. Our members were sincerely excited about the fact that Members of Congress and staff were actually well-informed on issues affecting the general aviation industry. They were getting “GA,” how important this industry is to the economy, and the invaluable services it provides to millions of Americans.
