One of the great success stories over the last two and a half years is the creation of the Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF). The ACSF was created for a number of purposes, all tied to industry support for a new body to focus exclusively on Part 135 safety. Reasons stemmed from some high-profile accidents in 2005-2007, to consolidating the number of audits that charter operators felt pressured into undertaking.
