The FAA has updated FAA Order 2150.3C to reaffirm continued use of the agency’s Compliance and Enforcement Program, which standardizes policies and procedures for addressing aviation safety and regulatory compliance issues. Now in effect, the order update focuses enforcement efforts on non-compliant unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operators who violate safety requirements and airspace restrictions, posing risks to the National Airspace System and the public.
