Reminder: May 4 Deadline for DOT Small Community Air Service Development Program Grants

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) opened the Small Community Air Service Development Program, designed to help small communities address air service and airfare challenges through competitive grant support.

On March 20, 2026, DOT issued a Notice of Funding Opportunity making up to $12 million available for eligible projects such as revenue guarantees, marketing programs, start-up costs, and studies aimed at improving local air service.

Applications, including all required materials, must be submitted through Grants.gov by 4PM EDT on May 4, 2026.
