Civil Air Patrol STEM Kits Support Aerospace Education

Back NATA News / June 9, 2026

The Civil Air Patrol’s STEM Kit Program is providing free, hands-on educational resources to help introduce K-12 students to science, technology, engineering, and math through aviation- and aerospace-focused activities.

The program is designed to support classroom and youth learning while helping spark early interest in aviation, aerospace, and STEM career pathways. Each kit comes at no cost to recipients, is ready for immediate use, and is intended to enhance existing CAP aerospace education curriculum and programming. As the aviation industry continues to experience skilled workforce shortages, programs that connect students with practical aerospace learning opportunities play an important role in inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals.
