The FAA is currently accepting applications for $1 billion in competitive airport development grants through its Airport Terminal Program (ATP). Eligible airports can apply for grants to upgrade terminals and airport-owned control towers. The program is intended to address aging aviation infrastructure nationwide and represents the final year of ATP funding authorized under the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
