The FAA announced draft policy that will transition individual designees from the Designee Registration System (DRS) to the Designee Management System (DMS).
Draft FAA Order 8000.95D, Change 1, Designee Management Policy impacts individual designees, including Designated Pilot Examiners, Designated Mechanic Examiners and others. Changes include modified workflows, updates to digital signatures, and automations of designee training activities. Individuals with FAA designee authority are encouraged to review and comment on the proposed changes, as appropriate.
