FAA Extends Deadline for Electric Air Mobility Pilot Program

The FAA has extended the deadline for state, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) governments to apply for its Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) and Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).

The new submission deadline is 3 PM ET, December 19, 2025, pushed back from the original December 11 deadline. The program aims to integrate and propel eVTOL aircraft and AAM operations into the national airspace. Interested SLTT governments can submit a proposal to participate in the eIPP in accordance with the request posted to sam.gov no later than December 19.
