Five New Airports Offer Customs Services, Ontario International Ceases CBP Services

Back NATA News / November 18, 2025

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced the addition of five user-fee airports where customs services are available effective November 17, 2025:

  • City of Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (COS), Colorado
  • Santa Maria Public Airport District (SMX), California
  • Tallahassee International Airport (TLH), Florida
  • Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB), Florida
  • Hillsboro Airport (HIO), Oregon

Additionally, user fee services are no longer available at Ontario International
Airport (ONT) in California.

User fee airports are those locations where the airport sponsor has entered into an agreement for CBP to provide customs services. The cost of available services is paid by the airport, which charges fees for aircraft requiring customs services.
