The Aero Club of Washington recently announced the appointment of NATA’s Vice President of Government Affairs Karen Huggard to its Board of Governors.
Huggard’s appointment reflects her extensive experience in aviation policy and advocacy, as well as NATA’s active engagement in Washington, D.C. on issues affecting aviation businesses and the broader industry. In her role at NATA, Huggard leads the association’s government affairs efforts, working closely with federal agencies, lawmakers, and industry partners.
Founded in 1909, the Aero Club of Washington is one of the oldest aviation organizations in the United States. Established during the earliest days of powered flight, the Club has a long history of convening aviation and aerospace leaders, policymakers, and innovators to promote dialogue, education, and collaboration on the future of aviation.
NATA congratulates Huggard on this appointment and looks forward to continued collaboration with the Aero Club of Washington in advancing a safe, innovative, and vibrant aviation industry.
