Please be advised that effective midnight (11:59 PM EST) February 3, 2021, Transport Canada expanded existing international flight restrictions to funnel scheduled passenger flights—including commercial, charter, business, and private— from ALL countries into four Canadian airports: Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Calgary International Airport, and Vancouver International Airport. Flights from Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon; medevac, ferry and crew repatriation flights; tech stops where no passengers disembark; and cargo-only flights will remain exempt. Additionally, a requirement for on-arrival testing for international travelers at Toronto Pearson International Airport went into effect at 12:01 PM on February 1, 2021.
Please note that passengers must still show proof of a negative pre-departure PCR test (unless exempted under an order made under section 58 of the Quarantine Act) taken within 72 hours of flying to Canada. Other than the Alberta-led pilot program, nothing alters the duration of the current 14-day quarantine, including proof of vaccines and/or negative test results.
