NATA will host a Girls in Aviation Day event in the Asheville, North Carolina, area on Tuesday, April 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in partnership with Women in Aviation, Asheville Regional Airport, and the Partnership for Appalachian Girls’ Education (PAGE). The event will welcome local middle and high school students for a hands-on introduction to aviation careers and pathways, with activity stations, aircraft displays, and opportunities to hear directly from aviation professionals.
NATA is currently seeking sponsors, activity hosts, and volunteers to support the program through demonstrations or interactive stations highlighting aviation related roles, skills, and technologies.
