NATA closed out a productive week in Cleveland marked by strong industry engagement, important conversations, and meaningful outreach highlighting the value of the aviation business community.
The week began with NATA’s Board of Directors meeting on Monday at the Flexjet Global Headquarters. NATA extends its thanks to Flexjet for hosting and for helping provide such a strong and impressive setting for the board’s discussions.
Throughout the Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference, the NATA team connected with members, partners, and industry leaders on the issues shaping today’s operating environment. Conversations during the event reinforced the importance of advocacy, safety leadership, and strong industry relationships as aviation businesses continue to navigate change and opportunity. Congratulations once again to Jacob Sahl and Ana Téllez, winners of the association’s Apple AirPods giveaway.
While in Cleveland, Curt Castagna joined members and industry partners for an important discussion on the future of Burke Lakefront Airport. The conversation underscored the vital role airports like Burke play in supporting business aviation, emergency response, flight training, connectivity, and economic activity, while preserving capacity and flexibility across the broader national air transportation system.
The NATA team also joined a hands-on engagement opportunity with a local school group and families, giving students a closer look at the people, equipment, and operations that keep aviation moving every day. Thank you to Jets FBO and its team for helping make the experience possible and so meaningful for the participants.
NATA capped off the week with the 2nd Annual AIN FBO Awards Gala, where members of the leadership team and industry guests celebrated the positive impact of our members on the business aviation community.
