Today, NATA wrote Mayor Parker of the City of Houston in support of the development and implementation of Airport Minimum Standards at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). The letter is in response to concerns that HOU is considering the addition of a sixth FBO to service the general aviation community. Prior to making such a decision, NATA recommends that the Houston Airport System (HAS) consider the benefits of implementing airport minimum standards, including ensuring safety, high quality services to the public and fair competition.
