NATA encourages members to join the Department of Transportation’s webinar, Holding the Line: Transportation’s Defense Against Human Trafficking, on Thursday, April 23, from 2–4 PM EDT. The series is designed to help transportation entities strengthen preparedness to prevent and address human trafficking ahead of major events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.
Topics will include trafficking indicators, counter-trafficking resources, and practical steps transportation leaders can take to strengthen policies, training, partnerships, and response efforts. A second webinar in the series will take place April 30, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. EDT and will include aviation perspectives.
