As of May, adult passengers on U.S. commercial flights, including charter, jet card, and other part 135 operations covered under TSA programs, must present a REAL ID-compliant form of identification before boarding. Not having a REAL ID or other approved ID may cause delays and, in some cases, cancelled flights.
To help operators and their customers stay in compliance, NATA has posted TSA resources on REAL ID enforcement and acceptable forms of ID. Also note, a REAL ID or other approved ID is required to enter most federal facilities, including TSA and FAA offices. Guidance on requirements for visiting a federal facility is also posted on the NATA website.
