With the 2026 FIFA World Cup expected to bring increased aviation activity across U.S. host cities, NATA is sharing a recent TSA briefing provided to NATA committee members to support early planning by aviation businesses. The resource highlights anticipated impacts including increased travel demand, crowded ramps, limited parking, enhanced security activity, and the need for advance coordination.
Members are encouraged to review the resource and begin planning with airport partners, FBOs, crews, ground transportation providers, and customers. TSA recommends coordinating schedules and services early, communicating passenger screening and ID expectations, staying aware of NOTAMs and TFRs, and following applicable TSA security program requirements.
