Workforce Development
Competition for recruiting and retaining skilled pilots, maintenance technicians and other aviation professionals is increasing at an alarming pace and the effects of this aviation workforce shortage are being felt on every level. NATA and other aviation associations in Washington are actively working on Capitol Hill to close the gap between supply and demand. In addition, NATA launched the Workforce Development Committee as a means to provide information and find solutions to help aviation businesses remain competitive in hiring and inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals.
