NATA will host its second Air Charter Forum on June 4, 2026, from 8AM to 2PM at NATA Headquarters in Washington, DC, bringing together air charter operators, regulators, legal experts, and industry leaders for a focused discussion on the operational, regulatory, and business issues shaping Part 135 operations.
A key feature of this forum will be an update from and interactive discussion with the FAA Safe Air Charter Team, which has played an important role in strengthening industry awareness around illegal charter activity, operational control, leasing structures, and compliance expectations. Representatives from the team will share updates on recent initiatives, industry education efforts, available resources, and reporting pathways, while engaging directly with operators on real-world questions, challenges, and opportunities for continued collaboration.
Held in conjunction with NATA’s Day on the Hill, the Air Charter Forum is designed to promote candid discussion, direct engagement with government partners, and practical dialogue among operators and industry stakeholders. The event reflects NATA’s continued commitment to supporting safe, compliant, and sustainable air charter operations through advocacy, education, and collaboration.
