NATA Releases Updated Guide to Minimum Standards for Airport Sponsors and Aeronautical Businesses
Today, the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) released an updated “Guide to Minimum Standards for Airport Sponsors and Aeronautical Businesses.” The goal of this guidance is to inform public agencies and private owners of public-use airports and aeronautical businesses of the benefits of developing, implementing and enforcing airport minimum standards, as well as rules and regulations, and to provide key information and recommendations.
“NATA and its Airport Business Committee are pleased to provide our members with the most recent and relevant information to help them continue to be successful businesses in their communities,” said NATA’s Director of Regulatory Affairs, Megan Eisenstein. She added, “We encourage our airport and FBO members to use this guide as a resource, as minimum standards protect all users and customers at an airport and help promote a level playing field amongst airport tenants.”
NATA thanks the volunteers of NATA’s Airport Business Committee who reviewed the update of this guidance publication. The principal author is Shelley Ewalt of HCH Legal. Significant contributions were also provided by Leonard Kirsch of McBreen & Kopko, Chris Rozansky of the Naples Airport Authority, and David Vaughan and Ken Wiegand of BA Aviation Group.
