NATA Applauds Fuel Producers Chosen for Testing in Unleaded Avgas Search
NATA President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks praised three companies – Shell, Swift Fuels, and TOTAL – for developing the unleaded aviation fuels selected by the FAA for further testing as potential alternatives to leaded avgas. Laboratory and rig testing will begin this fall and continue for one year at the FAA's William J. Hughes Technical Center. NATA serves as a member of the PAFI Steering Group. The fuels selected today will be tested in a laboratory setting before determining how many will continue to the next phase, which will include full scale testing in engines and aircraft. NATA to Participate in Aviation Outreach Event for Grade School Kids
NATA will represent our industry at an event sponsored by the Aero Club Foundation of Washington. The event takes place on September 23rd at the D.C. location of Signature Flight Support. Approximately 500 students are expected to participate to learn more about the different aspects of aviation. The Foundation is proud to offer support to advance aviation education and help prepare tomorrow’s leaders in the aviation and aerospace industries. Participate in NATA Flag Pins for Veterans Project
NATA is working with industry to raise charitable donations for organizations supporting America's veterans. NATA members are asked to participate by securing and displaying American-made flag pins in their operations with signage suggesting a donation of at least $1.00 per pin. The funds for this project will be collected periodically through NATA. The project will run through October 2014 culminating in a check presentation to the veterans organizations. NATA Fall Committee Meetings Start Today
The NATA 2014 Fall Committee Meetings start today and conclude on Tuesday. The event takes place at the Hilton Savannah DeSoto Hotel in Savannah, GA. Dates for the Spring Committee Meetings will be announced soon.

Atlantic Bets Big on Vegas Ramp
Atlantic Aviation has completed a $1.325 million renovation of its ramp at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, one of the service provider’s top three busiest bases. The 16-acre project was intended to upgrade its McCarran ramp to recognized standards. Click here to read further.
