NATA’s Hendricks To Address Florida Aviation Trades Association Annual Conference Attendees Tomorrow
Tomorrow, aviation enthusiasts will gather at the Florida Aviation Trades Association (FATA) Annual “ViewPoints” Conference in Naples. NATA President and CEO Thomas L. Hendricks will kick off the conference with a keynote address focusing on NATA’s relationships with legislators and government leaders on key general aviation issues at the national and state levels. Washington Governor Highlights Importance Of General Aviation To State
Recently, Washington Governor Jay Inslee declared June 2013 as “General Aviation Appreciation Month” across the state. The Governor’s proclamation highlights general aviation’s contributions to the state’s transportation system and economy. “General aviation plays a vital role in our state’s response to emergencies and natural disasters, and many communities depend on it for the continued flow of commerce and tourists,” the proclamation states.

NATF Announces First Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship Recipient
The National Air Transportation Foundation (NATF) is proud to announce that Sergio Vergara is the first winner of the Richard L. Taylor Flight Training Scholarship. This scholarship is named after Richard L. Taylor, Professor Emeritus, who for 22 years was the director of flight operations and education at The Ohio State University. NATA Members Fights Breast Cancer
Black Canyon Jet Center (BCJC) at Montrose Regional Airport has decided to add a little pink to its ramp and some cash to Bosom Buddies of Southwestern Colorado. Half of the revenue from their new pink JetGo ground power unit (GPU) will be donated to the breast cancer awareness group and all monies raised will stay in Western Colorado.
